This small cafe just next to Glenhuntly station, truly authentic! Only 10mins driving distance from Chadstone, I came here with my friends before shopping at Chadstone! I was surprised by the quality of the coffee, really nice! Also it has a wide selection of foods, from healthy salads to gourmet burgers. Most of the cakes and pastries are made in house! We had spaghetti and housemade chicken mushroom pie. Overall, friendly staff, delicious food, clean and cozy environment! Will definitely come back!

The menu was written on the broad! It’s a quiet and nice place to enjoy, even though you just go there by yourself. The environment is relaxing, and the staff were very friendly and nice. And the food!!!!! I will definitely come back for this one!!!

Less than ten minutes drive from delightful Chadstone the fashion capital is St Zita’s, the patron saint of chai in my opinion as they serve up the most delicious 9 spice fresh wet chai with soy, honey and cinnamon. I’ve never come across this blend before but it is absolutely my new favourite.
I was so pleased to be invited to try St Zita’s today. I discovered a cute little local with some ripper looking cakes in the counter cabinet and a personal touch. Many customers were referred to by name which was so lovely to see. You can tell the staff are all really genuine. Easy street parking and accessible by tram, there are also plenty of crowd pleasers on the menu.
I couldn’t go pay the dukkha smashed avo with poachies, the standard Melbourne brunch dish, but given summers coming I also had to try the banana smoothie bowl because who doesn’t love a good smoothie bowl when they make you feel so pure and healthy? Both presented beautifully and were extremely delish. I could really taste the mint in the feta avo mash and talk about yolk porn. I was loving the fact that the dukkha and the chilli came separately so you could add as little or as much as you liked (ALL the dukkha for me and NONE of the chilli 😊) and amen to a very generous helping of the avo/feta.
I loved the textures in the smoothie bowl. Between the pepitas, shredded coconut and the slivered almonds there was plenty of crunch factor in each spoonful of the chia and yoghurt blended banana. Topped with lots of yummy fresh fruit too and garnished with sprigs of fresh mint it was a winning combination. The tartness of the passionfruit worked so well in contrast to the sweet banana and the bowl was super filling (or nourishing as the fitspos say).
So when the bread and butter pudding came fresh out the oven it looked amazing but I have a confession to make, I don’t actually like bread and butter pudding. OR SO I THOUGHT. I thought I’d just try it on account of how delicious it smelt but despite being so completely full already I actually couldn’t stop eating it. So unbelievably morish. Apparently even when you are so full you could burst. Next time you are shopping up a storm at chaddy this is definitely the spot for a lunch break and don’t you dare leave without trying the pud, especially if you, like I, are under the misconception this sweet is nothing special. Think again my friends. Right I’m off to lie down and put on some stretchy pants
